Rip-off

Has anyone been to KFC lately? For those who been there, you'll notice that KFC has a new addition in their menu lately- the KFC Shrimp Stix. What is it? Well, basically it is deep fried breaded wrapped prawn with flour. Sounds delicious? Now, before you rushed to the nearest KFC outlet, just sit back, relax , have a cup of tea and read the rest of my story.

This new product so far has drawn a lot of criticism from a lot of people and causing an uproar among the local Internet community. Google for KFC Shrimp Stix and you'll get what I mean. Here's some example.

I'm one of the victim of this blasphemy too. I got ripped off by the illustration when I'm at KFC One Stop Midlands, Penang for lunch. The shrimp stix is not only small, but I can see NO prawns inside at all. All I can see is only flour and it tastes like flour too.

Even during press conference, the shrimp stix displayed is so huge. The length is like half of the plate!



This is why, KFC should just stay handling chickens and not venture into seafood. So, if you still want to indulge in a plate of fried chicken after reading this post, here's my little piece of advice to you; just order the normal snack/dinner plate. Shun away from the Shrimp Stix combo because two 5 centimeters long shrimp stix simply wont justify the premium you've forked out. Trust me.
